The construction of a multi-dwelling residential development comprising of exclusive, whole floor apartments in the heart of Darling Point.
This project involves the demolition of an existing building and garages with the construction of a new residential flat building at No. 10 Sutherland Crescent, Darling Point, also known as No. 20 Etham Avenue, Darling Point. Designed by Woods Bagot, the proposal will include the construction of a luxury boutique three storey residential flat building including new swimming pool, landscaping and basement car parking.
The building will provide a single vehicular entry point to the site from Sutherland Crescent, and secure pedestrian access from both Sutherland Crescent and Etham Avenue. Lift access is provided to all levels, in addition to stairs.
POCO Designs has created a sophisticated bespoke interior which encapsulates opulence and highlights the sites connection and proximity to Sydney Harbour. The interiors consist of the highest luxury quality finishes including marble benchtops and feature walls, Gaggenau and Miele Appliances and Home Automation.
The interior is influenced by the streamlined silhouettes, scrupulous craftsmanship and contrasting materiality of Sydney Harbour’s superyachts. It is a celebration of these architectural elements and noble materials that sees the incorporation of curved architecture, rich timber veneers, stunning marbles, brass detailing and leather wall panelling.
The open plan living areas and use of fluted marble, curves and enormous vitrocsa windows creates a sense of movement and fluidity in the space while maintaining a sense of intimacy and sanctuary in the bedrooms. The end result is an exceptional and luxurious interior.
The Crescent is the epitome of luxury living with its distinctive and contemporary interior and unrivalled location.
